Explore the depth and texture of a variety of printmaking exercises on several levels from mono prints, etching, collagraphs and other techniques. Join Robin Douglas for a two-twenty-four hour period workshop to create single and multiple prints on material and paper in the vein of Paul Gauguin, Helen Frankenthaler and Robert Rauschenberg . all supplies for your original artwork will be provided and artists of all levels are welcome.


members $70, visitors $100


Limited space is bachelor. This result will exist held onsite at OMA in compliance with CDC, land, and county guidelines. Sanctioned social distancing will be followed and masks that cover both the nose and oral cavity are required to exist worn at all times.

For the first Music at the Museum of 2022 OMA is "taking information technology to the streets" and back again in commemoration of the street photography exhibition

For the first Music at the Museum of 2022 OMA is "taking it to the streets" and dorsum again in celebration of the street photography exhibition Oceanside Unfiltered .  The evening will characteristic performances by Oside's ain, including music from Dezzy Hollow and Street Trip the light fantastic Freestyle by Wild7s Freestyle Krew. Music at the Museum will be bringing it back to movement the civilization forward with former school and funk music sets by DJ Grande. Throughout the event, Members Merely Car Gild will exist belongings it down with Lowriders parked outside.  Explore the exhibitions for free and enjoy the music starting at five:00pm. Celebrate the opening of Shinpei Takeda's exhibition Limit of Your Rubber Infinite with an artist-led gallery tour at half-dozen:00pm followed by a panel discussion at 6:30pm exploring diverse points of view on "safe spaces" within the context of museums. Lead by the Executive Director of Dr. Bronner'south Family unit Foundation Kris Lin-Bronner, the panel volition dive into the meaning and importance of rubber infinite. Hear from panelists Jens Kull (immersive media artist), Fernando Rubio (Professor of Communications at UCSD), and Kathi Anderson (Executive Director, Survivors of Torture International) on the concept of safe space in relation to marginalized groups and virtual spaces, and how creative expression can play a critical role in finding refuge from emotional and physical harm.
